Corrective Care

Corrective care is a form of chiropractic that works to correct the long-term effects of spinal degeneration. The aim of corrective care is to make you feel better and the main goal is to restore your spine to the way it was created with 3 distinct curves which allows your nervous system to function and communicate at its' optimal level resulting in less symptoms, reduced illness and quicker healing.

The most common postural problem that requires correction is forward head carriage. This is the result of stress on the brain and nervous system over time. The compression this causes on the spinal cord is the root cause of poor health and disease. Correcting the spine restores the proper communication and allows your body to eliminate health concerns and achieve true health.

Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system (neuro = nerves, musculo = muscles, skeletal = joints). Doctors of Chiropractic practice a manual approach, providing diagnosis, treatment and preventative care for disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system, muscles and joints.

It is thanks to your brain that your lungs breathe, your heart beats, and every cell, tissue and organ does what it’s meant to do. The signals from the brain go down the spinal cord, out to the nerves and then to all the muscles and organs.

Different form of stress or physical trauma like an injury or poor posture can force your spine out of its proper alignment. In turn, pressure is put on the nerves, and as a result, the signals your brain is trying to send to the body can’t get through. What can result are different types of pain.
