Appointment Policy

Office visits are scheduled according to the severity of your condition and the program of chiropractic care that the doctor feels is best for you.Because your condition requires numerous appointments over the next few weeks or months, we have designed a Multiple Appointment Program for your convenience.This procedure minimizes your time in the office and facilitates incorporating your appointments into your daily routine.

The frequency of your adjustment schedule is of paramount importance to your results, so we ask that each patient assume the responsibility of strict adherence to the appointment program as it is designed for optimum results.

Regardless of how many appointments are scheduled for you each week, please note that it is the frequency of visits that count more than the days on which you receive the service.If, for any reason, you are unable to keep an appointment, we require that you telephone immediately to reschedule that visit.It is the patient’s obligation to make up a missed appointment within 7 days of any cancellation.

When entering the office on any given visit, let the front desk know you have arrived. We sincerely attempt to honor all appointments at the scheduled time.If you are late, you may be asked to wait for the next available appointment.If you have any questions regarding our office policy or your appointments, please do not hesitate to ask.

Financial Policy

1. We pride ourselves on having terrific relationships with all of our patients and realize that some patients also have a relationship with a third party payer. Please note that all services rendered are charged directly to the patient with whom we have a doctor patient relationship. We will happily provide receipts to assist you in getting reimbursed by third party payers with whom you also have a relationship. If your Insurance company allows direct billing we will do our best to accommodate you.

2. In our office, we find what consistently works best is when all payments are due at the time
of service or at the agreed upon with an automatic withdrawal date. We do not hold patient
balances or bill to keep our costs down.

3.In those rare circumstances when a cheque does not clear, we charge a nominal fee of $25 to redeposit that cheque.

4. We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for any appointment you may need to cancel. Charges may be made for multiple missed appointments and those cancelled without 24 hours’ notice. All missed appointments will also need to be made up to ensure your healing momentum.

5. It is our hope and intent that you complete your care in our office and then elect to follow through with a wellness program. However, it is important to note that all care packages and plans can be stopped at any point you decide and for any reason. The only fees that you will be responsible for are the fees for the adjustments and care that you have already received.
